Throughout two touristics tours, I am suggesting you to enter into the glorious and tormented history of Provence whose castles are witnesses.

Between sea and mountain, this full of light and colours landscape earns natural assets of unbelievable beauty but also holds a noticeable architectural heritage. The many castles which line the superb sights, illustrated this rich past and remind us that since the beginning, the Provence links the fight spirit of the battles and the pleasures of life.

"Wars, invasions, competitions have erased a lot of these works, looted or deserted some of them still shows ruins. Saved by the madness of mankind and freak of time, many of them have fortunately reached our time, bearing upon the old fortified walls the weight of the years, the mark of the fights, the transformation of long life.

These noble residences, fortresses, medieval castles, Renaissance residences, palaces or romantic houses are the symbols of power and wealth which keep embedded in the stones, the imprint of those who have built, like and defended them.

Kings, popes, princes and lords have owned them, famous dignitaries have shaped their history and notorious names of literature and art have devoted their beauty. Historical events, plots and passions have enforced their reputation and the diversity of the landscapes, their starring role, the fashions and years have influenced their style and architecture. "
